Last weekend was a great way to kick off my summer.

On Friday I tried Molly for the first time at EDC NY. I’ve done E before, but never Molly. The experience wasn’t entirely new but way, way better than E. It was amazing, really. It was also my first music festival. Wow. The energy was so fucking amazing. The Molly had me in a zone I’ve never fucking been in before. I usually don’t dance especially at EDM events because I’m really self-conscious and only dance at parties when it’s reggae or reggaeton and there’s a girl in front of me. But man I was fucking on one. I just let go of all my inhibitions and when I tell you I felt the music that is not a metaphor I really fucking felt the music inside of me. I’m really glad I go to experience that. It was refreshing. It was liberating. And I don’t think I’ve ever had that much fun.

Saturday and Sunday I spent the weekend at my friend’s lakehouse in Massachusetts. I was with good company and we spent the weekend getting high and drunk as fuck overlooking a beautiful lake. (I got to smoke a blunt on a hammock which honestly has been on my bucket list). I also got to go speedboating. It was just, fun, and new. I’ve been a city kid my whole life so to go up there and get away from the chaos of NYC and relax and enjoy nature was really special. I needed it.

On Monday I tripped shrooms for the third time, but had a really intense trip for the first time. It almost turned into a horrible and scary trip but thanks to a really great person it was actually enjoyable. Despite my anxieties looming over me during the whole thing. It was definitely scary. But I’m glad it happened. I think I know myself better after the trip. And I definitely wanna trip again, but this time with no problems.

My brain totally needs a rest after all the substances I’ve used in the past couple of days. But this weekend set the fucking tone for the summer I wanna have. A summer where I let go of all the bullshit anxieties I struggle with. Where I just let loose and have as much balls to the wall fun as possible. Where I rage all the fucking time. And where I don’t give any fucks as often as possible. You’re only young once and I’ll be damned if I waste my youth away in my room. I’ve done that for far too long. I have a lot of catching up to do but this summer I’m taking control and running this rage ship straight to the fucking ground. It’s going to be a hell of a journey and I can’t fucking wait.
